The Friends of McGilvray Road Welcomes You

Picture
The Friends is a non-profit, ALL volunteer organization dedicated to
  • maintaining the old McGilvray roadway as a hiking trail and
  • preserving the six remaining historic bridges
as a service to present and future generations who are interested in history and enjoy natural areas.
 *Did you Know?
Your State Taxes do not pay for all of the  maintenance of The McGilvray Road hiking trail.  DNR funds for managing the trail and Van Loon Wildlife Area are limited.  Monies and labor contributed by the Friends of McGilvray Road (FMR) have been critical in completing many projects and keeping the trail usable.  Please help us continue our work by joining FMR or making a contribution.  Memberships  and  Donations.
All membership fees and donations are tax deductible.  FMR is a 501 (c) (3) organization - non-profit.
